The Shelf

The rest of the pantry — everything we've put up over the years. Some active, some quiet, all still on the shelf if you'd like to take one down.

Food & recipes

  • Sarah's Sweets — The home bakery — cookies, market bakes, and the recipes behind them.
  • Local Food Production — Food we grow, ferment, and put up — preserves, pickles, sauces. (in progress)
  • Meal Schematics — Recipes, drawn like schematics — every component written down so somebody else can build the thing.
  • The Brisket Sandwich — Schematic No. 001 — smoked packer brisket, in-house bread, fried cotija, house pickles. The full build, written down.

Trades & services

  • Treehouse Local Consulting — Fiscal accountability research and program evaluations for local governments and the civic groups that hold them accountable.
  • Small Batch Software — Software built to fit one shop: yours — and a workshop that teaches you to spec your own.
  • AI Pilot School — Practical AI training for competent adults — free lectures, hands-on labs, open course materials. Your skills are about to take off.
  • Bend Private Tutoring — K–14 tutoring plus the skills school skips: attention, emotion regulation, and how to use AI without letting it think for you. (prototype)
  • Stallfront — Pre-order pages for farmers market vendors — customers reserve Saturday's batch before it sells out, and pay at the booth.

Research & policy

  • Treehouse Research — Independent public-policy research, published in the open.
  • Interactive Findings — Policy research you can poke at — interactive fiscal analyses of Oregon districts and cities.
  • Pursuit of Happiness — An open polling station: pose a question, hand out ballot links, and see the tally only after you have voted yourself.

Writing & worlds

  • New America — An RPG in development — a cassette-futurist America, 100 years out, where we test rules of cooperation in fiction first.
  • Reading List — Writing we like — books, articles, and things worth passing around.

Play

  • The Pantry — A playable kitchen: poke around the shelves, meet the cat, vote in the cookie poll.
  • My Stay in Bend — A small browser game about our town. Playable now.
  • Brisket Tycoon — The Sold Out Smokehouse business plan, playable — smoke a fixed amount, work the window, sell out daily.

Concepts

  • Sold Out Smokehouse — Our one-sandwich BBQ concept, built end to end: brisket, pickles, free popcorn, sold out daily. An exercise in product creation and branding — for now.
  • Dude Milk — A protein drink with a sense of humor — a conceptual exercise in product building. Yes, really.

Us

  • Travel Kits — Field notes from the road.
  • Sarah's Personal Portfolio — Personal art and projects.
  • BJJ Problem Atlas — Brazilian jiu-jitsu modelled as problems and affordances instead of a list of techniques — a map of positions you can walk. Private for now.
  • Internal workspaces — Signup kits, module materials, source packs, and roadmaps for each venture — starting with Tutoring HQ. Members only.
  • Link Fan Club — The cat. He deserves his own jar.

Some of these may come back as full jars again. Some may not.
